Since I started on the Genealogy journey the world of research has changed astronomically! Years ago to obtain information one either had the good luck to inherit documents, books etc. or to be told of what had happened in the past and have stories handed down through the family, which could be researched. To access newspaper articles, old parish registers and records one had to go to the Genealogy Libraries of the Church of the Latter-day Saints, for which I was very grateful that they had so much information. Other places of research were Libraries, City and Town Archives. But now, at the click of a mouse, one can get so much information it is really mind boggling!

In these pages I have tried to give a brief history of my ancestors using the information I have obtained over many years and from a huge range of sources. For some families I have much more information than others. Those families for which I have very little information will be the first I shall be researching in the near future. Some of these families I researched years ago and could not find information on them but I now have more recent findings that I have not yet had the time to investigate.

This website is by no means complete but I have tried hard to get it up and going over the last couple of years. There are still many people not included that I still wish to include some of whom had very memorable lives.
